Over the last four years, New York based photographer, Peter Beste has been photographing Norwegian Black Metal musicians. This unique subculture in the context of Norways magical landscape, mythological background, and strong sense of culture has been the focus of this on going documentary project. His first photography book Norwegian Black Metal was published in Japan in 2005. Beste has had solo exhibitions in London, New York, San Francisco, Austin, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Osaka, Oslo, and Bergen.

This issue represents a collection of recent, unpublished work.
